The 40th edition of AAHAR 2026 concluded at New Delhi with over 1.25 lakh visitors, global exhibitors, and strong industry engagement in the food and hospitality sector.
The 40th edition of AAHAR, one of Asia’s premier trade shows for the food and hospitality sectors, concluded successfully at New Delhi, on March 14, 2026. The event served as a major platform for brand promotion, business generation, buyer-seller engagement, matchmaking initiatives, and industry networking.
Organised by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India, in association with the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) and leading industry bodies, AAHAR 2026 attracted over 1.25 lakh exhibitors and business visitors from India and abroad. The strong turnout and vibrant participation reaffirmed the event’s position as one of Asia’s leading B2B platforms for the food and hospitality industry.
Surpassing previous records, the exhibition witnessed a notable increase in space bookings and visitor response. Building on this momentum, the next edition of AAHAR is scheduled from March 02–06, 2027, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
Congratulating the award winners, Ambassador Jawed Ashraf (IFS Retd.), Chairman, ITPO, expressed optimism that future editions of AAHAR would be organised on an even larger scale and with greater prominence, particularly with the second phase of the Bharat Mandapam redevelopment plan set to commence soon. He highlighted that Italy participated as the Partner Country in AAHAR 2026, and anticipated broader international participation with partner-country status in upcoming editions.
The official AAHAR mobile application significantly enhanced visitor convenience, recording over 17,000 downloads and facilitating more than 2,800 business meetings during the event. On the occasion, Ambassador Ashraf also presented the Awards for Excellence in Display across multiple categories.
The gathering was also addressed by H.H. Kenneth Félix Haczynski da Nóbrega, Ambassador of Brazil to India. The ceremony was attended by senior ITPO officials, representatives of diplomatic missions, exhibitors, industry leaders, and members of the media.
