Gonvarri Material Handling and RINAC India launch Constructor RINAC Pvt. Ltd. to provide warehouse storage, automation and cold chain intralogistics solutions.

September 2026: Gonvarri Material Handling (GMH), the global intralogistics group behind the Dexion and Constructor brands, has formed a joint venture with RINAC India Limited to deliver warehouse storage and intralogistics solutions in India. The new entity, Constructor RINAC Pvt. Ltd., will serve cold chain and non-cold storage applications, combining international engineering expertise with local project execution and service capabilities.

The partnership aims to address the evolving needs of India’s logistics and warehousing sector, where demand for efficient storage systems, automation and better space utilisation is growing. By bringing GMH’s engineering capabilities closer to Indian customers, the joint venture intends to support project delivery, system implementation and after-sales service across the country.

From Distribution Partnership to Joint Venture

The collaboration builds on an existing relationship between the two companies. RINAC initially served as an authorised distributor of GMH storage solutions in India, adding pallet racking systems and semi-automated storage solutions to its established portfolio in cold chain infrastructure and modular construction.

Joint customer projects, technical collaboration and close operational coordination gradually strengthened the relationship. Both companies also worked to align their market strategies, solution design and project execution methods. Discussions between RINAC’s leadership and the management teams of Gonvarri Industries and GMH helped shape a shared approach to the Indian market, laying the groundwork for the joint venture.

The new arrangement is intended to combine GMH’s engineering standards and intralogistics portfolio with RINAC’s local market knowledge, installation capabilities and customer relationships.

Storage Solutions for Cold Chain and Industrial Warehousing

Constructor RINAC Pvt. Ltd. will offer storage systems for both temperature-controlled facilities and conventional warehouses. Its portfolio will cover conventional pallet racking, high-density storage systems, and semi-automated and automated solutions.

These will include rack-clad buildings, mobile racking systems such as MOVO, pallet shuttle systems and the P90 pallet racking range. Such systems can help businesses improve storage density, make better use of warehouse space and support more efficient material flows.

For cold chain operators, storage design must account for temperature conditions, operational workflows, product handling and the specific demands of refrigerated or frozen environments. In other industrial warehouses, the focus may be on storage density, inventory access, throughput and integration with material-handling systems.

The joint venture aims to address these varied requirements through solutions tailored to Indian operating conditions, supported by local project execution and after-sales service.

Strengthening Presence in India

Sergio Rodríguez Cuesta, Chief Executive Officer of Gonvarri Material Handling, described the joint venture as an important milestone in the group’s global growth strategy. He said the partnership would strengthen GMH’s presence in India by combining European engineering principles with closer customer engagement.

P. V. Balasubramanian, Managing Director of RINAC India Limited, said the collaboration brings together global engineering standards and local expertise, enabling the companies to offer integrated solutions and clearer project structures for Indian customers.

Parakkel Sukumaran, Joint Managing Director of RINAC India Limited, added that the partnership would expand RINAC’s capabilities across cold chain and industrial warehousing projects while building on its established customer relationships.

The formation of Constructor RINAC Pvt. Ltd. marks a further step in the development of India’s warehousing infrastructure. By combining storage engineering, automation capabilities and local execution, the joint venture aims to serve a wider range of industrial and temperature-controlled storage requirements.
