This state-of-the-art facility is set to manufacture Coca-Cola beverages, bringing a wave of economic development and job opportunities to the region.

The SLMG Beverages Plant at Trishundi, near Amethi, was inagurated by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, marking a significant milestone in the region’s industrial landscape and bringing a wave of economic development and job possibilities to the region.

SLMG is to invest over INR 700 Crore in this project, which will employ nearly 650 people directly and indirectly in the area. SLMG Beverages, a flagship company of the Ladhani Group, is a significant Coca-Cola franchise bottler in India.

Speaking at the inauguration, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, said, “the State of Uttar Pradesh is transforming into the most preferred investment destination in India. I would like to congratulate SLMG Beverages for opening its new state-of-the-art facility and for continuing to leverage the growth potential and abundance of UP. Through this investment, we are glad to hear about the Coca-Cola Company’s commitment and positive long-term outlook for India.”

On this occasion, Smriti Irani, Union Minister of Women and Child Development and Minority Affairs, and Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha from Amethi, was also present.

The Trishundi bottling plant is poised to play a pivotal role in meeting the growing demand for Coca-Cola products, in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, and Madhya Pradesh. The Trishundi plant is a fully automated bottling plant with 06 lines including a line that produces ASSP (Affordable Small Sparkling Pack) which has been specifically introduced for India and has a plastic reduction of approx. 35% in the 250 ml pack. The lines will produce beverages in sparkling, juices, and water categories offering a range of sustainable packaging solutions.

SLMG Beverages currently has seven plants spread across Uttar Pradesh and it bottles more than 4 crore bottles per day (approximately).

Taking a step towards creating a circular economy, SLMG Beverages recently introduced 100% recycled PET (rPET) bottles for Original Coca-Cola in pack sizes of 250 ml and 750 ml. SLMG recently announced that it will be spending close to 16 crores for acquiring 3000 electric vehicles to convert its existing ICE retail distribution fleet to EV’s.
