The Food Taipei Mega Shows 2025 officially opened on June 25 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Centre Halls 1 and 2, launching Asia’s premier event for the food industry.
Organised by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), this year’s flagship event was themed “Precision Nutrition” and “Green Intelligence,” reflecting the industry’s commitment to digital transformation, net-zero emissions, sustainable packaging, and healthier diets.
At the opening ceremony, TAITRA Chairman James C.F. Huang emphasized that the event was not merely a trade show but a global journey inspired by the universal language of food. “Food builds bridges across nations and reminds us of our shared humanity,” he remarked.
Huang described the event as a crucial hub for international partnerships, innovation, and exchange, positioning Taiwan as a key player in the global food supply chain. This year’s show featured exhibitors from 33 countries, reinforcing its status as one of Asia’s most influential food industry platforms and highlighting the strength of smart food technologies, sustainability, and personalised health.
The 2025 edition consisted of five concurrent exhibitions: Food Taipei, Foodtech Taipei, Bio/Pharmatech Taiwan, Taipei Pack, and Taiwan Horeca. Together, these showcased the latest in food production, hospitality, biotech, and packaging technologies.
More than 3,000 international buyers from 93 countries attended, underscoring the event’s robust business potential.
